Twas the night before Christmas and all through the mog house
Not a creature was stirring not even the mog house mouse
The Wonder Clomps were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Santa Galka would soon be there.
I laid in my bed in a state of slumber
When up on the roof I heard a something asunder
I rose from my bed and grabbed my musketeers gun
With silver bullets loaded I readied for fun
Then out of the window I spied, a red sleigh on the ground with 8 chocobo tied
Then on the roof I heard footsteps creeping
With a heavy sound of thump the roof started creaking
Then all the sudden with a loud solid thump the chimney exploded and out rolled someone quite plump
With soot on the floor and the fire out I made out a figure of which there could be no doubt
He stood there clad in a garments so fine,
rare/ex all of them their origins undefined.
He wore a red hat and in his white beard were crumbs of rolenberry pies consumed this year
He stared down his nose at me on the floor and smile a bit as he let out this roar,
"Ho Ho Ho" He cried in Galkan tongue, "Silly Agawulf put away your little pop gun"
I tossed it asunder knowing it had no need
For Santa Galka did not aggro, nope not sound, sight, nor low hp
He smiled again and spoke with a knowing voice,
"I know all of those who are naughty and nice"
"And I know what you've done this past year, days and nights"
"How do you know all this?" I asked in a stutter
"Why my dear boy, your moogle is undercover"
I looked in the corner of my dimly lit mog house
and there in the corner spun the moogle I'd never let out
He looked at me with a grin and smiled as he said,
"Kupo my master I've watched over you much,
and I told the jolly one all that I've watched"
I grimaced a bit as I thought of the past, of petty squabbles and fights, and extorted gil cash
"Agawulf my boy" said Santa with a grin "I know what you've done,
I know how you've been"
"I heard of the time you helped get a coffer or two"
"and I heard of the times you ate dirt in promyvion, times two"
"It is not the gil in your pocket that matters, the armor you wear, or levels you've gathered"
"What good are these things if not used for others,
what good are these things when so much more matters"
"And while I've seen that you mined a bit too much,
and save up gil in hopes of buying armor and such"
"You have helped out many and that is what matters,
for giving to others is what I like to see, that and good manners"
"So Agawulf, for you I bring not coal nor do I bring super armor +2 signed in gold"
"I bring you the knowledge that you have done well,
That others are happy, and all is well"
And with that he placed a finger to his nose
and back up the chimney he arose
He left the mog house as clean as a whistle
and over the mantle the wonder clomps bristled
full of sweets, fireworks, and treats they near burst
and I knew that the taru would be rip into them first
Then out the window I heard a whip crack
and up arose the sleigh powered by a might chocobo flap
As Santa Galka rode off into the night I heard him proclaim,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!"
