54<56 Static!Follow

Hi, first time poster on the boards, coming from DAoC, VN seems to be dead as far as FFXI goes so I started reading Allakhazam.

To keep things as short as possible, I'll get straight to the point: Phuryion and I plan on starting a static XP party, from 54-56 to 75. The group setup I plan on running is as follows: Blm,Blm,Rdm,Sam,Nin,Thf. Phuryion is Nin, I am Blm, which leaves Blm,Rdm,Sam, and Thf spots open. If you're interested in joining, simply post in this thread, or send me a pm (I'm assuming Allakhazam has a pm system, haven't checked as of writing this.) and I'll get back to you.

Not to sound like a jerk, or elitist, but you will be expected to know your role in the group and be able to execute it proficiently. This means you, rdm, must be comforable with your refresh cycle and be able to keep it active on all mages as a priority. You, sam, well... just know your ws partner and be ready to go. You, thf, land your sata's and yes, you will be pulling. :D Blm, don't overnuke please and help cure/enfeeble when necessary. Of course the different jobs are much more in-depth than what I've stated, but this is just a basic guideline.

As far as equipment goes, I'm not picky at all. I don't expect everyone to be extremely rich, and decked out, especially with the recent inflation. All I ask is that you be "up-to-date" with your current gear, and that the blm have one of each elemental staff. Also, have some equip macros to switch out with your different casts... would hate to see you bursting AerogaII with an Ice Staff.

I think that pretty much sums it up, be warned though; RDM in this setup is obviously going to stay busy, as it will be expected to stick crucial enfeebles, haste, and refresh, as well as healing. Blm's will help with enfeebling/healing as needed, though Phuryion is an excellent NIN and is good at keeping shadows/hate. One last thing, playtime will be around 8pm EST - 1am EST, or later on weekdays. Weekends still have yet to be determined.
