I have just created a new CoP LS called "DmgInc". The ONLY requirement for you to join this shell is that you have completed all 3 of the basic Promyvions, and have at least been to Tavnazian Safehold.
This LS will start with 2-2 (which is only a cutscene really), and progress through all CoP missions. If you are on 2-2, or any higher missions, and would like a pearl, please feel free to send me a /tell in-game, and I will get you a pearl.
This will also be a social/chatty LS, so if you want to keep it equipped at all times, I'm sure there'll always be someone around to keep you company.

Eh, think of it this way. If you can beat the prommys, you have a good crack at beating the rest of em up to Vahzl.
Pretty much. And monster: the key to any promy is ANIMA!! If you do not spend the time farming for 'em (takes like 30 minutes, tops), you WILL fail. I have successfully done over 20 runs of the first 3 promies... anima anima ANIMA. Get in touch with me in-game if you need any specific help.

I do farm Anima, I do it while getting my Tatics Pearl each week. As for any job, I've taken three into the proms. I've gone as WHM, SMN, and WAR/NIN. My last two attempts were:
Holla with 3 SMN, 2 WAR/NIN, and 1 WHM.
Mea with 2 RNG, 2 SMN, 1 WHM, and 1 WAR/NIN.
This seems like more then enough firepower, but we still manage to lose. I guess what I want is a static I can count on to know their jobs. Mea run had 1 RNG that didn't two hour. On the Holla run I bought poison potions for everyone, so imagine my shock when the WARs were asleep with the win in sight. I don't doubt that these can be easy, I just hate doing them with pick-up partys.

What time do you normally play? We do a static ENM run on wednesdays at 9:30 PM pacific and I might be able to help you get through the promys. We go in BST groups, but SMN fits in really well. Let me know & I will see if I can get some people to farm some anima for a few runs. We can normally get some one access in two weeks, barring a streak of bad luck. Respond here or send me a tell if interested.

check your PMs. I will spread the word and see if we can get 4 others to get animas (I have mine ready to go) to get you through at least 1 this wed. We'll probably start on Dem, do the ENM, then the boss. Dependant on how many Anima we use decides if we try another boss, since the ENMs can be beaten w/o animas.

Aside from CoP mission runs, I'm going to try to get other CoP related events going, such as Tavnazia escort, NM's and farming in capped areas, and CoP quests (like map quests).

I will have to look you up. I am part of a social LS already, the MOoks, but I really want to get through these missions as well. The few of us that have completed them, or at least are making progress, are not doing it with other LS members.
The only problem I can forsee is my time schedule. I am stationed in Korea, and my normal hours of play may be wildy different from people in the states.

Jobs for promies aren't really THAT strict. I completed all 3 promies with the following setup:
WHM/BLM
RNG/NIN
WAR/NIN
PLD/WAR
DRG/WAR (me)
and
BLM/WHM or SAM/WAR, or even a 2nd DRG/WAR, depending on who we could pick up at the time.
The fact that I went as DRG/WAR and we won without a single death on the bosses should speak volumes. We had more deaths getting to the spire than we did on all 3 of the bosses combined (0).
Once again proving:
Player Skill > Job
I agree, certain setups will make things easier. Then again, a crappy SMN is a lot worse off than a REALLY good DRG. ;)

i would like a pearl when i log on again, been so long i forgot where i last logged off at. Also ive been told a strategy and its been confermed for the mammet mission ill tell ya in game see u soon
sweet, im on 2-2 atm also, i got rdm blm and thf leveled up enough for CoP missions ^^
Can I have a pearl too ? I'm on {Riverne Site #A01} at the moment and cant seem to get past it. Done it 5 times and failed everytime, we even had yellow liquid but guess it was'nt our day, anyway, I'll definitaly be in touch if you need more peeps.

I'd actually like a pearl if i can. My ls, ChickenChowMien is a good ls, but they're not in the hurry to finish the CoP missions like i am, and i've been stuck on 2-3 for 2 months now. My character is Pimo in game.
I will contact you both in-game this afternoon and try to get you both a pearl. Any MORE takers?
