ok just recently i noticed a group of people playing the AH to make the prices seem extremely low for ELE staves and one of them is Minitaruwaru and Kitsune ok anyways they are now trying to spike the price it seems to somehow gain gil are these gillsellers?

Because the only people that try to make gil are gilsellers.
Ampyre, punctuation and spelling {do you need it}? jesus go back to elementary school and learn to type people. stop with the crappy spelling and run-on sentences. this is a trend ive been noticing lately and its making me not want to read anyones posts. i leave alla feeling dumber than when i logged on. >.>
Dunno who Minitaruwaru is, but Kitsune is a woodworker and a good rdm :o Doubt he sells gil.

In other words they are undercutting, and dropping the prices? Seems to me like Taruinator is angry because he listed some staves and they aren't selling because he refuses to move with the market.
Hey, same thing has been happening to me too, I'd list an item, the price would drop and 3 days later it'd be in my moghouse, did it a few times till it finally sold. From what the prices were when I first sold them, till what they finally sold for, overall on 3 items I lost about 500k. That makes me angry too, but I'm not about to go on a b*tchfest on Alla because of it.
Funny really, a few months ago people complained about the inflation, now they are complaining about the deflation? WTF!
Go bug somebody else who cares.
It's called supply and demand. Simple economics.
As a crafter, I make stuff all the time for profit. If theres a lot of an item for sale, I'll undercut it, as it does no good to have a bunch of items sitting in my inventory, or sitting on the AH for 3 days, that's money I can invest into making more money.
If there are very few items, then I sell for the going rate. If there are none, I may bump it up, depending on what the going rate was (if an item was severly undercutted, I may bump price back up) or depending on how much it cost to make in the first place.
If the item is already severly undercut, well, then I won't make it lol.
And before anyone starts complaining about price bumps, keep in mind that several items are made solely on the purpose of making money. If there is no money in it, they won't get made (or rarely get made)

Lol at Tropic. It boggles the mind why people don't want to look like they have some sort of education. I personally don't like to sound like i'm in the 3rd grade, and I feel that my intelligence is insulted when I read posts like Ampyre's because it makes the rest of us look bad.
