It's interesting to read posts like this.
At first glance, the list of jobs that are 'open' is reasonable...some combination of those jobs will always make up your tank pt, add pt, and never seems like there are enough blms to go around at events.
If we look at what was excluded though:
Bst - Well, bst is extremely helpful @ Bomb Queen, Rostrum Pumps, Tiamat, Bst can solo Despot for sky pop items - why exclude bst?
Mnk - Monk is one of the best DD jobs in the game, properly geared. Chi blast is also a wonderful addition to fights like Kirin - why exclude mnk?
Smn - Are you kidding me? SMN completely owned in virtually every CoP fight, they are the BEST DD against Vrtra/Tiamat, are a huge addition at the 3 kings, and might be the strongest end-game job atm.
Sam - 2 or 3 SAM at an event allows everyone to be better. Throw meditate on, get 100%+ TP, get them in the alliance for a SC, and you increase the damage of your blms and smn by creating a opportunity for a MB without them having to spend any more MP - gosh, can't use SAM at all.
Drk - Don't have enough blms for stuns? Have you fought Suzaku recently? or O-hat? Stun, Stun, Stun. Can't ever have enough. Expecting all of your rdm applicants to already have /drk levelled? Because experienced players are going to come to your LS in droves, right?
I think that perhaps you may have overlooked some of what these jobs bring to the table.
