Iv been trying to get AJ for a while now with no luck. Everytime im there RMT get him. had to watch as RDM RMT gets lot >< i mean RDM!!!!! ZOMG!!!
Drg68.. i actually play the bloody game, im not RMT its so unfair.

It seems that more and more RMT are camping NM's that only drop Rare/Ex drops so that they can sell them out of treasure pool's. A few days ago I was in Gustave Tunnel helping a friend get a test when Wyvernpoacher pops. Outta nowhere these RMT swoop in and start killing it, spamming /say's and /tells to us asking if we wanted to buy the Bow. Being only a whm and brd, we didn't (we wouldn't have bought it anyway, damn rmt) but still.
And it's not like they wanted it cheap either! They started with "1000k, 1 million gil, ok buy bow?" blah blah blah, broken Engrish. Kept trying to trade us too and inviting to party, till we turned on blockaid. Went down to 500k when it finally musta dropped to one of them. Then they left, then ran up to presumably camp Bune or some such.

I thought that maybe the reason they camped certain R/E item NMs like Ose was to gear themselves so they don't have to spend gil on armor. But yeah I've heard of them doing the same for Minstrel's Coat, Joy-toy, Emp. Pin, Bounding Boots, etc.
man, and the rare/ex drops used to be like the sanctuary of nm camps....apparently nothings sacred now....
lol ._. I feel you dawn, my DRG is 71 by now, and i just gave up on Ose. It's a pain, boring as hell with no help, and if competition is there just annoying lol
Sometimes it depends, really the best time to camp Ose is if the RMT have just killed him, they usually leave after he dies and theres usually another RMT pt exping there. With your own camping team + the RMT exping, the Torama will be cleared pretty quickly and he speed up his pop time, he popped about 1hr after ToD for us cause we cleared every Torama there was when it popped, even while skilling up.
RMT also frequently camp Mysticmaker.

Incidentally, Bart and I got both Assault Jerkin AND Moldy on the same run. Damn that was a fun day. ^^
This is Tanker (74-75BST) I put all my extra exp into merit until I find some lvl 75 gear worth keeping lvl 75. Send a tell in-game sometime I might be able to help. Too easy to solo Ose as BST.
