Back in the GameFollow

Hello again Shiva. I am not sure if anyone remembers me, or was around when I played this game but in any case I am back. I started FFXI back on the release day in NA, and played through the release of CoP. Some of you may or may not remember my 75 taru BLM, Neonrage, who was the first NA BLM to 75 on the server. Sadly, after calling SE, I discovered that character is long since gone (it has been 4 years since I last played). But I have started a new char, named Neonrage, yet again.

I am looking for a LS to join and/or people that I played with way back when that are still around. Does anyone still do the ZM, CoP, and original Rank missions anymore? It sucks not having my airship pass or being able to access any of the ZM areas.

Also, I am still deciding which job to play to 75. Is BLU a sought after job for leveling PTs and/or HNM fights? Or are there other recommendations anyone can make, its been a long long time and I am sure class balances have changed.
