Yes, I have done research and am aware of the Wildvine quests in Feralas. That's not my current curiosity.

What I am wondering... is if anybody actually knows the minimum level for acquiring the Wildvine leather quests. I know the quest levels are 45 or so, but what is the lowest level you can get them at? 'Safe' completion isn't really an issue; I'd just like to know if I can accept the quests and wanted to see if anybody had ideas before I got my last 10 levels to 250 LW and made the somewhat dangerous trek to Feralas. Especially since the lowest confirmed level I've seen so far is 42, and my Druid is only 38.

I know for a fact you can acquire and complete the quests as low as lvl 36. Did so with a tauren druid. makes me wonder if there are even level restrictions on the quest... might just be a trade skill lvl based quest only.

Also... you only need 225 LW skill for the wildvine quests ;p

Aha. Thanks a ton for the confirmation. I think logically, level limitations would be unnessicary, considering the leather required to make 200+ patterns drops off of mobs you probably can't kill at levels below 40. It's a built-in level restriction, in a way (ignoring that there are obvious was around it). In any case, I'm now looking forward to starting on those quests within the next day or two.

And yeah, I was aware of the Wildvine levels, but wasn't planning on starting them until I can advance directly to Tribal leatherworking - which I had heard rumors of having a 250 skill minimum. Either way, thanks for the note. =)

That is 100% incorect. I was a level 225 leather worker at level 37. It wasn't hard either, all i had to do was turn all my medium hides into heavery hides and then heavy into thick. Hell, everything in stranglethorn vale will drop thick hides and i could take them down at level 35 with a solid pet. You can insanely increase your leathermaking skill just by making thick armor kits, and they are cake to make. Not saying it was easy, but i spend way too much time on my trade skills rather than leveling.

The tribal patterns are actually the easy part of the Tribal LW quest, wait until you try to find someone with the turtle scale gloves pattern :).

Whoops, guess what I got from a chest this morning and stuck on the AH with a 2 gold buyout?
I thought it was strange 10 minutes later I got a message saying my pattern for turtle scale gloves has sold.

Ouch....could have probably gotten at least 10g for it considering how much it's needed(or give it to a Leatherworker and go into business with them, the gloves themselves will sell for 3-4g a pop sometimes).
