Blacksmithing RequirementsFollow

Is there a final level-minimum requirement for Blacksmithing, Weapon Specialization? I know that Artisian Blacksmithing requires level 35, and you must be level 40 to choose weapon/armor specialization. But what about even further specialization: Swordsmith/Hammersmith/ etc...? I saw in another forum, it casually mentioned that you must be level 54 before you can choose that far.

I am wondering because I am level 47- the minimum requirement to weild the Truesilver Champion 2h sword- which was the only reason I was persuaded to be a blacksmith :) And my blacksmithing is only 10 away from being able to craft that weapon myself. So you can see the heartbreaking delema I am in, if I cannot even craft this weapon until I am level 54!

Also, if any veteran Blacksmithers are reading this: do you have any advice on how to level Blacksmithing from 260-300?

level 54...smith skill 250
To become a dedicated sword, hammer or axe smith.
Level 40...smith skill 200 to "choose" to become a weaponsmith.
("choose" means that some of the items that you are required to create for the quests exceed the min of 200 smithing)
