I would check out the cost of the parts for your upper end drops in ah to see what’s worth making. I myself did elemental and am currently unhappy. To make stormshroud pants you need 2 essence of air and 2 essence of water. On my server the essence of water are selling for about 10 gold each (not to bad) but the essence of air are selling for 40 to 50 gold each. Which makes creating the pants useless if you plan to sell them since most people aren’t going to pay over 100 gold for them on my server.

So like I already said check to see what parts for upper end combines run on your server before deciding. Since most stuff you create will be replaced with dropped gear anyway.

I can tell you this, the tribal armor seems to be focused more towards druids( intelligence and spirit bonuses ). The devilsaur leather may be OK for a hunter but seems to be focused more towards a rogue. I am making a nice profit on the designs at the AH and the patterns are not that rare. I have already found all the frostsabre set and all but 1 of the Chimeric and I purchased the devilsaur set at the AH for 6G total. So from a profit standpoint Tribal is a good choice, from the standpoint of making your on armor as a hunter, I'm not so sure.
