I have recently found a way to get a LOT of easy cloth for your tailoring skill.. you see, the first step is, find a nice, medium-sized guild that's going through a leadership change.

Join this guild, and be polite, respectful, and always willing to help. Then, volunteer your services as Guild Tailor.

I've been mailed over 80 Mageweave in the last three days, and the guildleader says he's got another 4 stacks in one of his alts for me, and a mess of runecloth when I get to the point.

It's awesome. I spend, now, silver and copper buying thread and dye, and I crank out items for my guild.
