Hello All,
I don’t have WoW yet, however I am getting it this weekend and I was wondering if someone who has experience in engineering/mining would mind doing a quick write up of how to actually use the 2 skills and what the first few levels are like since there are no real guides for these two professions at least with all my searching I haven’t found any. If there is indeed would could you please post a link to it I would love to have a look.

Professions in WoW are very easy to use. It's a matter of finding the materials you need for the given item you want to make. There really isn't anything specific to write about. Just open up your Engineering pane, see what materials you need, or have. Most of the items you need you will get through your questing and 90% of them are common mob drops or ores.
