Blacksmithing question ._.Follow

Okay, here's the deal.

I hit 35 today and my blacksmithing is already over 220. Anyway, I went to Booty Bay and became Artisan blacksmith. In IF, I have talked to the guy and I have chosen Weaponsmithing (Although when I talk to him again, I can still choose Weapon-/Armorsmithing. Also, when I choose weaponsmithing, all I see is some flashy little effect, no text, and that's it. I hope that's not bugged or anything.)

So, I know this. I can't learn any new weapon plans anywhere (except from AH, quests and drops), I can still learn armor plans even if I'm a weaponsmith (or at least I see them in AH and it seems like I can learn them too). So, I don't really get it. Is this how it's supposed to be? Because it's confusing me to no end.

And about artisan blacksmith, I can learn all that new stuff in Booty Bay, including armors. Please help. ;_;

When you choose weapon/armor smith specialization the NPC that gave you the choice should tell you to talk to another NPC, then that one gives you a qst to become specialized. Once you complete the qst you will have the options to train the items. And you can still make armor as a weaponsmith, just not the armor that requires Armorsmith (Obviously).
