ok so I have this plan, I figure im going to learn enginnering (enchanting wasn't doing me any favours) but obviously there always the question of which to choose, gnomish or goblin however! If i was to learn gnomish first to make death ray and net o matic, then re-learn engineering and go for goblin for all those lovely bombs : ) I would stil have my death ray and net o matic for a nice combo!
Or am I just mad?

correction the big one is not bind on pickup, the BoP schems are gnomish death ray and goblin dragon gun

i had the same idea, to learn gnomish to get the BoP things, and then unlearn eng and relearn for goblin. I don't see why it wouldn't work, the only problem is that you would need an inordinate amount of metals, gems, and the other whatnots to re-level enging. as lvl 33 with eng at 225, i still have 2 levels to decide whether ill do that or not.

Why not just delete your membership card and Redo the quest for goblin engineering

Doesn't work, if you take gnome you're stuck at gnome.
And it doesn't work if you remove enginnering and learn it again.
And it doesn't work if you remove enginnering and learn it again.
You do a quest deciding which branch you want to take, so even if you reset your Engineering, the quest would still be completed, not allowing you to do it again with the other path.
