Tailoring/Mining Do u agree with me for money?Follow

I been Thinking that Tailoring doesn't require any material gathering like Skining cause u get the wool cloth and all that from monsters. So i was wonder if i become a tailor i would hunt the bottomless bag with friends and make a good amount of money selling it.Then i realize if i put mining as the second proffesion it wouldn't effect the speed i would be lvling tailoring. So i figured out at a high lvl mining i could make thorium Bars and sell them for a good price in the AH and make good money of that.So at lvl 300 Tailor i will make good money making items cloth and bags, and at lvl 300 mining i would make good money of the thorium bars. Those any1 else agree with me on this please post your commets if u thing this is a good idea or bad.

I have a warlock with tailoring and mining. Even at the early levels you can make money with mining. Did well selling copper and bronze bars. And don't forget the stone and occasional gems you get from mining. I didn't realize when I started that people actaully needed the stones as much as the metal. Iron sells well too, and so do the heavy stones that come from iron vains. (Engineers need lots heavy stone for explosives)

It works well... but...

If your in a stable guild with people of higher professions, I've always favored skinning and mining, or skininning and herbalisim.

If you think about it, most people will make anything you want if you just give them the materials. In a good guild, this is especialy so. With whatever is left over just auction. You may not be able to make that dreamweave vest yourself, but you'll definatly have the money to buy it!

If your class doesn't need fabric, give it to guild-mates or sell it. Wool is a good buisness. Heh, I've even known leather scraps to sell 15s a stack.

hmm now that i think of it your right nowq that i look at the AH light leather and scraps sell for good money. Light leather sells for 30s and scaprs sell for 20s. I would have made alot of money if gone skining/mining. But my goal is to get bottomlessbag cause i will be able to sell around 50g every or even more. I made a mistake but i don't wanna go back now tailoring is 100.

Enchanter/Miner is AWESOME for money...

Tailor/Miner is cool if you want some easy money, and want to be able to make cloth armor for your lowbie guild mates :)

Meh, I was Tailoring/Enchanting until I got to level 36 and only had 3 gold. Decided I needed more money, so I switched Enchanting to Mining. I had 104 gold two days ago (down to 90 now :-P). Mining is great, especially if you know where to look for ore. The prices fluctuate, but they're always decent even when low.

Tailoring has not, up to level 225, made me any money. I lose a LOT. That might change now with my new Mageweave Bags; I can make them for 1 gold, 9 silver, and they sell at the AH for 2 gold, 25 silver (at least, that's what I see them for). But up until this point, very few of my tailoring items would sell; and I would have made a lot more selling the cloth. But I make my own armor, so I save some otherwise expensive purchases at the AH. Plus I can make my own blue items :-D
