i have a low level enchanter with high level alts. so i can get a few green items in the 30-50s.
can a low-level enchanter disenchant the higher level stuff? and if he does, can he get the higher level essences or only the low level essences? ie would i be wasting the higher level green gear right now if i disenchant them by getting stuff like lesser magic essence and strange dust instead of higher level magic stuff? or does it go based on the item and even with low level enchanting, i can disenchant and get high level magic stuff?

if you wat to be an enchanter who actually enchants stuff and grows enchanting then 30-50 green wont get the dust and essences you want to use. but if you are an enchanter who sells the Mats. for cash then go for it it is easy cash and 30-50 lv items will be great.

But he can store them up, to use when he gets a little higher 9n skill he'll be able to use them, i would say it definatly not a waste, keep em in your bank, i switched with my main from herbalism to enchanting a week and a half ago, on my sever i bought the strange and soul dust, as it takes for ever to disenchant enough low level items to get the materials, buy them at low level, find the enchanter trainer, select the cheaper (in terms of matiral), i would say the dust ones 2 x soul dust is a nice enchant to level up on, then just repeatedly enchant the same item. Its easy, just be careful when you buy as 10x soul dust on my server went from 60s to 3g by the time i had finished with it lol lev 240 now and man its hard to lev
