Artisan Cooking Quest on ShadowsongFollow

#1 Jun 07 2005 at 4:27 PM Rating: Decent
Is the Artisan Cooking quest broken on all servers or just Shadowsong? I've submitted 50+ tickets, every single one of which received the exact same cut-and-paste response. I've turned in all the required items...and I received my reward, but my cooking skill remains capped at 225 and will not increase. Can anyone in the players community give me any insight...because clearly Blizzard hasn't a clue.

As soon as you get the Artisan Skill you need to cook something to get you above 225,,,take some ingrediants to make something that is orange,,,226 and you are fine. Bug if you get Artisan and log out before advancing skill level.

then I must be bugged....I've tried cooking orange stuff...and it doesn't advance...and my still still shows 225/225.

I guess I'll just keep pummeling Blizzard until I get a reasonable response from them...although this cut and paste answer crap is pretty cheap of them. Thanks for the thoughts though!

This is a system-wide bug, you WONT get more then a cut and paste answer from them, as they wont bother reading past "my cooking skill is st..." They are (supposedly) working on a solution and you'll se it fixed (can you say "Christmas Present", I knew you could) eventually

This bug has been in and out of the system for awhile (Many months). At the very begining they were having issues with it. Then it seemed fixed and not it is bugged again. The Tailoring bug took a month to fix. Hopefully that is not the case for you. :(

I hate to say it, but this bug has been around since the start of the game. I have read posts by people and spoken to people in game who have had this bug for over four months. This bug can hit both cooking and first aid. There are level 60 warriors out there who can’t make high end bandages because their first aid cap is at 225. People have been screaming at Blizzard about this for months but I have yet to read a single official response to it. I have no doubt they are well aware of the problem. But I would very much like to hear why they can’t seem to fix it.
