there really are a lot of choices
id either recomend using Either:

Tailoring/Enchanting
Allows u to make armor for yourself, plus stuff to fuel enchanting (By disenchanting green items)

Alchemy/Herbalism
my personal favorite, wont make money for you until much later or if you find the few choice items that sell. But this will GREATLY help with survivability, mana pots and healing pots are your friend, trolls blood will give u minor health regen and there are potions which will help increse DEF and STR a couple stats where while arent a main concern for warlocks, are always good to have.

Another you could try is Mining/Engineering
Gadgets are fun to play with : )

otherwise, go for something that will help fuel income on your main, IE if u make money selling weapons from blacksmithing, take up mining.

I am a gnomish warlock on windrunner and have been using Engineering from day one. The bombs, death rays, netomatics, chickens, and shrink rays are super fun and super usefull for a warlock.

At lower levels your bombs can hit pretty damned hard. This could be the extra few dmg you need to kill something if your OOM

Once you can make a deathray you'll never know how you lived without it. It hits for at LEAST 700dmg and a MAX of 2000 something! For a warlock this is great! Especially if your affliction specced and dont have your nukes upgraded.

Netomatic is probably more usefull for a gnome than a human but you will find that being able to root as a warlock is fun. You dot up, root, and step back to unleash shadowbolts or Drain life. If your a gnome the backfire for this is trivial since you can escape it and still have about 8 seconds of the mob being rooted. For a human you'll just have to plan ahead for this sort of thing.

As for the mechanical chickens... what could be better for a pet class than MORE PETS! Later on you can make dragons and whatnot too.

Oh I almost forgot! you get to make the cool robot who buys and repairs things! This is a great tool for a warlock who wants to keep lots of soulshards on their person in an instance where loot can pile up pretty quick.

Hope this little bit of info helps you out!

Since you've already got a moneymaker character you may want to consider going Engineering / Enchanting. This will give you access to a lot of extra tools (bombs, trinkets etc) that will be a great help to you (you will need stone, metal and leather either from the other character or the AH). It will also give you cash (through disenchanting) and cheap access to enchants to keep your characters equipment buffed up at all times. Don't try to power-level it though unless you are very wealthy.

Note: a lot of people always pair up enchanting and tailoring. There's good logic in this as cloth drops from a lot of humanoids, however engineering also has a large number of uncommon and some rare items that can be disenchanted. One of the most important items is the Green Lens (57 Armor, +10 STA, one random power). Personally I'm using a +34 Shadow Spell damage right now, but more importantly Green Lens will disenchant to Large Radiant Shard at a 100% rate. This is needed for popular enchants such as the +7 damage on 2H weapons, it usually sells for about 10 gold for each shard.

i would not recomend enchanting with engineering due to the fact that engineering needs a TON of ores. therefore enchanting would turn this money sink into a sink hole : ( even with a large cash flow it isnt fun.

I know some people would say I am crazy but I have my lock with Herb/Mining and the Gatherer UI. I would say do this only if you want to make mad gold and having the Gatherer is a must.
