I have no idea what this means and honestly I dont care to.

Things to remember, Mining nodes are found by looking at a "track minirals" skill and flowers are found with a "Track herbs spell", do ya see where I am going ? to be a Miner Herbelest one would have to swap back and foruth on tracking(UGG what a pain)Skinning requires no tracking tool, so you can track one thing, and skinn the other.

Next, look at the AH on your server, take note of who is selling what and when stuff dissapears, on my server cirten herbs will go for 10 gold a stack of 20, the diffrece is it can take one heck of a long time to ride arrund and collect 9 nodes of Dreamfoil, then Post it 2-3 undercuting the price of otehr herb sellers, I can regulary score 7-8 gold, The issue,Time. Killing Beast is just part of the game, When they die they drop loot, and then are skinned, in that respect it is only a few sec at the end of each fight to get skinns, herbs and minirals means you have to GO FIND THEM, now is the time spend looking for herbs worth you time? that is your call.

Lastly Look at the BEST you can do with each skill:
1: Mining=> Arcane crystal, Thourim ore, Random Gems. Mining has to be the best choice for money making, with stuff like Arcane Crystals that sell for 20-25 gold each on my server and slightly less for the other gems. Next is the folks that use ore,2 professoins use this stuff and some of the smiting quests require Copious amounts of Mith and Thorium, meaning their is always a market for your Ore.

2: Skinning=>Now I know it is silly but you can skin Pristine Hide of the Beast With a median price listes of 900 gold each you are sitting pretty, on my server they only go for about 480, counting on that is Insane though. Skins are used by 3 trades LW taylors and smithing, their is always a market for leather. Some of the more realistic money makers on Skinning is stuff like Devilsaur leather and dragon scales, I have seen Devilsaur leather sell for 7-10 gold EACH.

3:Herbalism =>Their are some money makers in this one,Ghost Mushrooms are some money my server they are cheap at 1.75-2.5 gold for ONE!!!! but they are only 3 or 4 places in the whole game and are farmed quite heavly, Mountian Silverage and Plaguebloom are decent sellers at about 10-15 gold a stack of 20. Unfortuanaly the "Best" Herb in the game is BOP so you cant sell it, now I used "Best" becasue it is the most HighEnd herb and used for Flasks but it dosent matter, they bind and theirfore the "super herb" that is needed for high end Alchemy cannot be sold by Gathers, has to be got by the Alchemest . Lastly Herbs are only used by one profession.


I think it is your choice is obvious for cash. but it is your call.

Herbs arn't used just by alchemists they are also used for enchanting

Leatherworking is bad money, I did it for half a year and never made a fortune with it.

Mining is extraordinary good if you know the right spots.

Atm I level herbalism - I know the good mining spots while sleeping, so I don't have to switch often between the 2 tracking types.

Reason is that I wanna collect my own ingredients for potions, to hand em over to our guild alchemists. Nothing more frustrating than having to buy hopelessly overprized regen pots or find the AH empty of Mungo pots all the time.
