hey guys.

just wonder which one out of the 3 leatherworking skills(tribal, elemental and dragon) does and your opinions on which one is the best to choose.

If you had posted you class and more detail as to what you want from your tradeskill it would have been more helpful but I'll try summarise the whole thing.

If you want to wear what you make and you are a..

1. Hunter or Shaman - go dragonscale, it has a lot of good shaman gear and black dragonscale is okau for hunters until you get some set peices.

2. Rogue or Druid - go tribal or elemental, tons of good druid gear and the Devilsaur armor set is one of the best rogue sets in the game.

If you want to make money from you crafted items.

Go Dragonscale or Tribal, elemental has some good things but you'd do better selling the Devilsaur set as rogues are fairly common on most servers. Dragonscale stuff would sell better on the horde side I'd imagine.

It seems to me that that "Devilsaur armor" Isnt any good for Rogues at all, it has no Agility bonuses, As a rogues thats practicaly all i look for. Stamina isnt really needed as a rogue.

the stats of devilsaur replace most apects of what agility does: Attack power, crit, and stamina to replace the dodge and armor bonus from agility. I am an elemental LW and I have this set with the Stormshroud Chest and Shoulders. Makes a great balace of stats though it doesnt have any agility stats.... and you should have some stamina just to survive, because you are gonna get hit no matter what you do.

You should do what i'm planning on doing. Mix Tribal gear and Elemental gear. Go with Devilsaur Legs and Gloves, and Stormshoud Chest and Shoulders.
I went with Elemental for that reason sonce i already have a Tribal leatherworker in my guild.

/boggle Stamina is a good thing for anyone to get as an extra stat, maybe not primarily, but don't just disregard it.

If you want to make money, dragonscale and Tribal are the way to go.

If your looking to enhance your class, and you're a rogue, or druid, go tribal.

The elemental stuff will look weak and won't sell well, but actually in MC the bonuses will actually be benefical, but again, I find most people would rather wear the blues/purples they have found over time , despite the bonuses from elemental LW.
