I want to enchant things for people but items people want me to enchant I can't accept from them such as mail. How exactly do I get the ability to accept items such as somebodies level 5 mail?
You can have an item you cannot use in your inventory. If they cannot trade it to you it is because it is soulbound.
To enchant someone else's soulbound item, open a trade window with them and have them put their item in the "Will not be traded" slot. Then apply your enchant and hit trade.

I tried to enchant it in the can not be traded window, but it did not work I might have done something wrong though I'll try again. Thanks for the help.

In order to complete your enchantment you have to have the other party put the item to be enchanted in the "Will not be traded" slot. After this is done and you add the enchantment both parties need to click the trade button to enact the enchantment casting process. Hope this helps.

Ok I guess I got it to work. The pieces were enchanting I just didn't get a progress bar saying I was enchanting. I did loose my strange dusts and the guy said it worked. I just thought there would be something more to it like regular enchanting.
