Fishing TrainerFollow

Hello all.

Quick question, I am now in Redridge and managed to hit 105 fishing. Can anyone please point me in the direction of the next fishing trainer? The one where I am can't train me anymore.

Thank you in advance.

When you hit 125 skill you can buy the Expert Book in Booty Bay, this unlocks the 150-225 skill range.

With any profession trainer once you reach a level where you can progress to the next level of skill (journeyman, expert, artisan, or whatever they call them) the trainer's opening text, the thing he says when you first click on him and before telling him you'd like some training, changes to point you in the direction of the next trainer. For example, the fishing trainer might say something like, "You're a much better fisherman than I am, wwdragon. If you want to advance your skill further perhaps you should see this guy I know in Booty Bay."

Yes that is what normally happens, however this guy just says he can train me yet there are no options to be trained in. Nothing filtered either.
Weird.

Oh well time to find that book.

You'll need to be 125 skill to use the book and, unless something's changed, the character has to be level 20.

All three secondary skills are this way; fishing, cooking and first aid. Once you hit 150 you’ll need to read a book to advance your skill. The books are sold in somewhat out of the way locations for 1 gold. Though you can usually find them in the auction house if you don’t mind spending more for them. Once you reach 225 you’ll have to do a quest to advance your skill to 300.

Check out the links on this page to the vairous professions for directions to the different books:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-professions&t=40&p=1&tmp=1#post40

And here’s a warning in advance. Whenever you do your secondary skill quest do NOT log out until you’ve gotten at least one more point in your skill. There is a nasty bug the Blizzard has not been able to fix. Some people complete the quest but they are never able to increase their skill above 225. It’s been in game since launch and Blizzard is aware of it. But there is no fix as of yet. So, the workaround is to gain one point in that skill before you log out. I’ve yet to hear of anyone getting this bug if they do so. So once you complete the fishing quest go out and fish until you get a skill point. When you do the cooking quest be sure to take some items too cook and get a point in cooking before you log. And be sure to bring some high level cloth with you when you do the first aid quest.

Best of luck.

I'm hoping that someone might be able to shed some light onto this for me. I am a level 21 Priest and I struggled my way down to Booty Bay so that I could get this book to level past 150 in fishing (I am currently maxed at 150). However, I can't find the guy selling this book anywhere. I guess he's supposed to be named Old Man Hemming or something, but I can't find him. Please give me some pointers so that I can stop hitting my head against the monitor when looking for him! :)

Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

The person who sells the fishing book is at the very bottom of bb by the ramp up from the water. Basicly in the middle on the lowest level.

Check out the map for Nat Pagle. He's on an island on the western side of the bay next to Theramore.
