I've seen them sold on AH, but I'm not sure what is needed to aquire the remaining plate patterns. What requirements are needed for the Blue, Black and Red plate patterns to be sold and where are the venders located?

90% of the patterns are droped from high lvl mobs, the dragon scale quest is an orc in the badlands, start of with dragonscale gaunts and breast plate, all the other dragons scale thingys i believe are droped but now that i think about it Throium Brotherhood might sell you some stuff with rep of course
