Where to buy Light Leather from an NPC around Stormwind?Follow

Hi, n00b here. I tried asking to buy one piece of light leather and players insist that I buy the whole stack. My professions are Blacksmithing/Mining. Is there any other way to quickly aquire a piece light leather through an NPC?

Light Leather is made by a skinner so you will have to either look in AH or buy off a player.

If you wanted to create an alt with skinning, you would only have to take it to level five or six in order to get light leather. However, as you gain skill in Blacksmithing you’ll require higher quality leather. For your alt to keep supplying you with higher quality leather you’d also have to level up your alt.

So for your current needs an alt would work well. But you’ll eventually have to start buying from other players if you don’t want to keep leveling your alt.

Usually just asking on the General outside a capital can get you some. Just ask if anyone would be willing to sell one light leather, you might get lucky and someone give it to you for free. I know this can work with some cloths, such as linen and wool. Just try asking around if you don't want to buy a whole stack if you only need one.

Thats like When chris rock comes in to the restruant and wants to buy just one rib. Dont take it personaly but you were being cheap, and selling just one pice of leateher is just a wase of time to some, personlay I would have sold it to you, just at the same cost I was asking for the whole stack. Wow was designed with a economy of player aquired items, ore, skins, herbs, cloth as well as trade items iron buckles,Inlayed Cilinders, frost Oil Theese items are made only by other players and you will need them to advance your profession(actualy smiths make buckels cilinder) This is done to make you interact, or use the aucion house(just a deepruntram ride away form Stormwind)(note i bet the AH has a single leather.

Sure there are going to be days when people just don't want to be asked for something like "Light Leather", but I have to say... in just about any given instance (unless the person is obviously an ignorant ***) I will just give someone something for free. The only thing it cost me was about 2 seconds of game time to get the leather. The thing that bugs me (and it's my problem not the other guys) is when someone asks for something, I give it to them for free and then they turn and run off into the wilderness without even giving me a "ty" god forbid actually type "thank you".

I recommend you just ask (but not repeatedly). If you don't get a response after a couple tries either try a different zone or give up for the time being.

My suggestion?

Go to the AH, search for "Light Leather", and buy whatever gives you the cheapest price per piece of leather. Use what you need, stash the rest in the bank, and that way you have some for when you need it. If you never need it, just sell the partial stack on the AH again.
