Well, right now I'm at 237-ish Mining skill, and I'm needing some Truesilver for my gnomish battle chicken. But, I have no idea where to search for it. Anyone have any suggestions of where I can hunt for it, and what level the nearby mobs are?
Truesilver is the rare form of mithril. Basically just check your regular mithril spots, from time to time they will spawn as truesilver instead.
Alternatively get an alchemist to transmute it for you.

Problem is, I don't exactly know where to find mithril, either...
Oh well, I'll probably wind up hiring an alchemist to do transmuting (or ask a friend for it).

Charred Vale is the earliest (level) zone you can get to for Mithril (Truesilver). Not too prolific in it's spawn rate, but it's a start =)
Heh, that's way too easy for me... and too rare. Kinda hoping something with mobs around the high 30's (level 41 char).
try behind stromgarde, there is ususally three spawns there and three in the lake on the opposite side of the cave between arathi and wetlands, i onyl knwo thsi cause when i was mining for mithil fightign for it some pain i nthe *** came up ran past everythign and mined it

Here is the trick to Truesilver,
I have found Truesilver in several sporatic spots, but there are a few areas where it will show up on a more than rare occasion. Best bet is The Hinterlands, tons there if u search the whole area, also Un'Goro and Tanaris.

Farm SkullRock if you can take the slimes in their, get a herbelest to help clear it out, one of the only places to farm ghostmushrooms, and 3-4 mith spawns that sometiems spawn TS.
