My rogues got 165 skinning and i dont know where to go to lvl it up. im only 22
If you are on the Horde side, got to the Skinner in Leather shop. he'll teach you all the way though 300. Alliance? bah, why bother with alliance (j/k). Not sure, probably in Ironforge or Stormwind. most likely Ironforge.
i mean that i all the skinning creatures i can kill are gray or green, not that it is maxed at 165 and i dont know what trainer to go to. And btw, i am alliance
After level 100 skinning, you can skin any creature who's level is your skinning level divided by 5. At 165 skinning, you can skin any mob that's level 33 or lower. And of course, the closer to that limit a mob is, the higher your chance of getting skill from skinning it.
In short, unless you actually find mobs that you can't skin yet, don't worry about your skinning level.

The skinning trainer in Tan Your Hide leather shop of Old Town (In Stormwind, of course) took me all the way through expert skinning. Otherwise, you can travel to Darnassus because I know there is an artisan leatherworking over there I visit for training, and I believe a Expert Skinner.
Correct me if I'm wrong about the skinner, because I'm not sure.
If you not sure how to get to Darnassus, ask any level 50 or higher mage if they will make you a portal.

The skinning trainer in Darnassus is a master skinner. He will train all the way up to skinning 300.
At level 22 and up, try darkshire -- the wolves (not the ones in Raven Hill area, the ones closer to town -- the large black ones) and worgen in the area are something like level 24-27. All of those should help you raise your skill in skinning.
