I have heard that with increased rep with the thorium brotherhood, you become able to buy recipes, etc. If this is so, what if any leatherworking recipes become available for purchase?

I've got honored with thorium and have access to black dragonscale boots (dragonscale spec), lava belt (non-specialised pattern). Both of these are epics. The guy also sells chromatic gloves at revered rep, but i don't think i'll ever get that far..can't afford 2400 dark iron ore :)
He may also sell recipes for tribal and elemental (didn't take much notice tbh) - to check the full list his name is lutharos darkbringer i think, and his details can be found on this site.
If you are a tribal LW grind timbermaw rep instead, those furry guys have a few decent tribal patterns up for grabs and the rep is a little easier (certainly cheaper) to grind.

Anybody know if engineers gain anything? If not, is there any faction whatsoever that grants these sort of things to engineers?

He sells the Lava Belt to any leatherworker, and the Corehound boots to tribal at honored. Im slowly working to revered, to see if any thing new comes out of it.
