I'm starting a NE Druid and i Find Enchanting very interesting!!
Since u can make extra stamina And mana!!! that make's staying alive much simpler!!! and u can make money out of it very easy!!! And u only need skill30 in Tailorin to make Green item's. So i Find it a Win/Win situation!!
I'm going to start on my NE Druid in some Days and i'm going to team up with my Friend. So he will give me linen and Green item's Wile i'll help him with his Pro.

Give me our point of it!!!

Enchanting is a $$$ sink hole till 200 or so. You may not spend a lot of $$$ but you lose out cause you DE all the greens you get for mats. Tailoring can feed your mat need but it will always fall a bit short. I hated it until 200, then I started selling the +5 dmg 2H and the +3 dmg 1H for 5g and 6g respectively. They sell good, and as long as you can keep the large glowing shards in inventory the cash will roll in.

I really like it now. There is a lot of competition on my server (Lightbringer) as the trade channels are constantly being spammed by enchanters. When I have an opportunity to enchant someone I try to be extra nice, and offer the "deals" on future enchants I tell them to add me to thier friends list if they seem receptive and I end up with a customer...not just a one time deal. Since WoW is a social game if you make 2 guy happy he brings back his buddies and you end up with 10 enchants off one good transaction. Seems funky in an online world, but it is good business.

You will need to lvl tailoring along side with enchanting to keep the proper mats coming. And tailoring I used exclusily for mats (I dont wear a thing I make). If this is your idea of fun the go for it!

Yep, as golden stated, its kinda hard to make a profit off of lower lvl enchants liek +5 health to bracers ><. But at higher levels, you can level your enchanting faster and faster because you get more greens and blues for drops.

I personally have only gotten to about 150 with enchanting, but if you wanna try it out, more power to ya! :D

Really its up to what you want, Enchanting is good, but as the guys above me said, its a real money drainer, especially when you buy higher recipes, but they usualy have their return, since doing it once or twice basically pays back what you bought it for.

Tailoring is the best way to go, since you can make lots of green items with extra materials that you get. Also, I advise you to get enchantrix addon, since it tells you what items disenchant into what possible stuff, so you can co-ordinate your tailoring to match what you need for enchanting!!! (and don't worry, addons are not illigal and do not brake any of Blizzards laws)
