Craftable EpicsFollow

#1 Aug 25 2005 at 5:35 AM Rating: Decent
Hi all,

I have a level 60 mage and a level 60 priest, but at the moment I am not in a position where I can do MC.

This leaves me grinding for craftable epic items.

so far, I have already made a Belt of the Archmage for my mage, and I am currently well on the way to a Chromatic Cloak as well.

Can anyone give me any advice on any other epics I could try to grind for? I was looking at the spell mastery gloves, they look quite nice, but what about robes, bracers, legs, helms, anythingl ike that?

any advice would be appreciated.

There are a few craftable epic robes, but that includes 3 class specific tailored BOP robes so only your tailor can get one (and I hope for you you're not a mage since the pattern is the rarest of the 3). The other is the Flarecore robe, but you need MC comps to craft it so I doubt that one is available to you (or most players including me...). You could always try your luck at getting the epic robe drop from Ras in Scholo (Allanna's Embrace) or the Avatar of Hakkar in ST (Embrace of the Wind Serpent I think).

There are no epic craftable cloth hats out there, but you could try and quest the Savant's Cap. You get the quest from Finkle Einhorn when someone skins the beast in UBRS, but getting all the required components is a pain in the neck (especially the pristine hide of the beast...).

As for belt, bracers, shoulders and leggings, I believe the only craftable epic cloth items for these are all flarecore, and like the robe, they require comps from MC so they're mostly unattainable to the average player (unless you have thousands of gold to buy the mats from the AH when someone decides to sell a few).
