Ornate MithrilFollow

Ok, so after searching these forums, I have had no luck. I am an alliance person working on the starter armorsmith quest. I need to make ornate mithril breastplate, helm, and boots. I cannot find these recipes anywhere. I did the whole Strangelthorn quests and got 3 recipes for ornate mithril items, just not the three i need for the guy in Ironforge. Sorry, I do not remember names verywell :-). I am at a loss. Where do I get these recipes? They are not trained, i know that for a fact so help me please.

I think I figured it out. You do have to do all the quests in the set to get the plans. New question is this....Where do I get recipes that are supposed tobe trained? The armorsmith trainer in IF trains 2, the booty bay master only trains about 10. Where are the other trainers?

i just did these quests. i started the chain by talking to the guy in SW near the forge. (hank the hammer). he gives "the origins of smithing" quest. which will finally end up in tanaris with trenton lighthammer teaching you more ornate stuff. it's takes a lot of mithril. about 114 bars for quests in SV and about that in tanaris.

forgot to mention in last post, but you can also find the quests in allakhazam by clicking on the Quests "by tradeskill" link then "blacksmithing". you'll see both chains. the origins of smithing and expert blacksmith.

I finished the whole armorsmithing quest and to be totally honest I'm quite disappointed. I wish I'd looked at the list of final recipes before I started. I'm a 54 war now and I've never made any of those plate recipes for myself. I've always had better armor off the AH.

The only recipes left to learn would be the imperial plate recipes which are decent, but guess what...you don't need to be an armorsmith to learn those! Just have to have 265 blacksmithing.

edit: Forgot to mention that the faction recipes are quite nice, tho...Thorium Brotherhood recipes in particular.
