need help find iron

I just got my mining skill on my hunter to 125,(i changed skills at lvl 47) and i need to know what areas are high in silver and iron deposits

silver is a rare/uncommon spawn so you cant really "farm or grind" on it. For lots of iron thousand needles is the key. stonetalon peak has a decent amount too but its mostly mithril which you cant mine at that lvl. 1K needles is where its at

I have a route I run in Alterac that gives me pretty decent Iron, slightly less Mithril and occasional Silver, Gold and Truesilver. It starts just as you leave Hillsbrad and winds around the mountains. Mostly Yetis and Ogres there. And few caves that I can pick up veins from the outside and decide if I want to go in. I find if I make my circuit riding my mount the veins have started respawning by the time I get back to the beginning.
