So the question is this:
What is the difference between Lesser Invisibility and Invisibility when it comes to the potions you can drink?
Is there any point in making full invis potions with ingrediants such as ghost mushrooms when the lesser invisibility, although lasting less time, is so much easier to make.

Use: Gives the imbiber invisibility for 18 seconds.
Lesser Invisibility Potion
Requires Level 23
Use: Gives the imbiber lesser invisibility for 15 seconds.
Now as I said in the original post I have noted that there is a duration difference, but 3 seconds is a tiny difference when you look at what is required to make the full potion as opposed to the lesser one.

Is lesser invisibility and standard invisibility just descriptions of the same thing, and lesser invisiblity potion gives the same degree of stealth just for 3 seconds less time?

lesser also has a greater Detct donut, is more affectrd by stuff that detects invis, but the Imorptant part is 3 seconds, when running in to LBRS for key trun in, 3 sec is the diffrence between falure and success. I have also looted chests (Arena chests) and had only one sec of my potoin left, where as a lesser would have failed and i would have been intrupted.
Ghost mushrooms are not that tough to get, just get a buddie that mines, and eat Skull rock cave for lucnch, the miner will like the mith veins and you will love the shrooms, usualy 30-40 min in their yeadls a stack of 20.
some other things, Invis is not 100% gaurnteed, like stealth(with diffrent rules) You can be detected, greater invis makes it so you pretty much have to be 2-4 levels above the target to detect them.
Also keep in mind the warlock spell, Detect Lesser invis, well a regular invispotoin is not a LESSER vertion, their is even a alchemy pot to detect lesser.

Ok so lesser invisibility is a weaker version of invisibility that can be detected more easily and can be detected by spells/potions. That should mean that with an invisibility potion at lev 60 nothing can/could see me for those 18 seconds? Right?
...and yes I'll admit you're right that extra 3 seconds saved my *** on the odd occassion too... and I'll have to rate you up if only for telling me that i'll love the shrooms.
Btw where is Skull rock? Not come across it yet. So far I only ever get the mushies in maraudon and the hinterlands caves.

Mostly, if you walk on top of some guy @ 60 they will probly detect you, since you touched them, but essetnaly you are UNDETICABLE.
AAAA Skull Rock.
The skull rock cave is in the hinderlands in the north central part of the zone, it is realy close to the robot chicken. The river that runs east west is where your are looking on that river... their is only one cave entrance on your map, thats it!!! One of the coolest things about grining out srhooms/mith in that cave is the respawn rate, nodes pop up about ever 7-13 min, seems faster at night... but who knows, the second cool thing is their are crates of food/water down their, they are for a horde quest, but anybody can get something out of em,helps the grind out a lil.
