#1 Nov 08 2005 at 9:06 PM Rating: Decent
jesus christ, i was checking through this site for all the leatherworking skills, and there is a crap load of patterns u can get even before u go on to ur artisan skill

plz dont laugh if this sounds so bad, but i think my last patterns are at the nightscape tunic and headband, i have two or 3 more after that but i forgot what they are called

i know the partterns drop from people, but who drops them i was looking at the items and i didnt see which mobs drops the items

im tryin to be like the guy to come to, to make all ur leatherworking/tribal needs on my server, crushridge, im on the horde side

so if u can, give me some advice on how to get some more recipes, cause i want to start rollin in the money, im not sayin i havent made money off of leatherworkin already, i have, but i sucks, cause it goes all away when i got to buy new skills

BUT I WANT TO BE ROLLIN IN THE MONEY, thx in advance

Go to the tradeskill section to the left, select leatherworking and it will give you EVERY pattern for leatherworking. Click on any pattern and it will tell you where it can be found (vendor, who drops etc). If you are going into Tribal Leatherworking you will need to complete the Wild Leather quests first, and your skill in leatherworking needs to be at 240 I think. Your character level must be at least 35 or 40 also (can't remember). Don't expect to make TONS of money off of Leatherworking - you will make a decent profit off some items but not a killing. Do your homework on what it costs to make and how much you can sell it for BEFORE you go all out trying to obtain a specific pattern. The only way to make real money is on hard to obtain rare patterns - this is what will seperate you from all the other leatherworkers out there. Good luck and have fun!

Note that you may as well start grinding rep with various factions now. Many of the useful patterns are from rep based vendors.
