Ive been looking high and low for a macro that will allow me to skin and swap back to my main weps in one fell-swoop, but so far everything that i have found requires you to subscribe to various internet guides that are asking money, and to me, that just aint right. Newho, i was wondering if anyone has a skinning macro that they could post for me
You don't need to wield the knife to skin, just have it in your inventory.
If you want to skin something, when you have lotted the mob, right click it and you will automaticly skin the mob, without switching the knife.

What about a macro to swap in the +10skill skinning knife & the +5 gloves in for the skinning & out once your done.

not exactly a macro, but you could use the wardrobe addon for that. just make a 'skinning outfit' that consists of just your knife and gloves, and pop it on when you need to skin... wardrobe doesn't support really 'popping outfits back off' (i don't think), but you caould always just have a 'this is my regular gear' outfit and juggle between them... you can even use slash commands (and thus assign it to a button), if you don't like using the wardrobe dropdown menu.

There is a mod that let's you swap to the knife and gloves, I think you only *have* to have those items for end-game instances where your skill needs to be over 300 but it can be used at any level. Just check curse-gaming.com for Enhanced Skinning, or Google it.
