which would be better for a lvl 60 hunter swordsmith or armorsmith?

I am a swordsmith and the quest to get it is not great, while a friend went armorsmith and makes a hell of a lot of gold while I spend more for materials than I make from the weapons. If I had to do it again I would go Armor, Just my opinion.

Weaponsmiths are easier to level up, but Armorsmiths make more of a profit in the end.
If you don't have a decent income, and just want to level up your profession, go with a Weapomsmith of some sort. If you have a decent income, can support throwing a lot of money into your profession, and do not mind not having a maxed tradeskill right away, go Armorsmith.

Perhaps a bit of a n00b question but...how does one go about becoming a Weapon/Armorsmith?

To find the respective quests for weaponsmithing/armorsmithing, check the Trade Skills: List of Trainers bar on the left, and go to blacksmithing. Much easier than me writing it all out :-P
