* Enchanters can now turn some of their dusts and shards into magical oils. These oils when applied to weapons add a temporary bonus to magical damage or mana regeneration that stacks with permanent enchantments. The lower levels of these recipes are found on normal enchanting vendors. The higher level versions are found on special vendors and are rewards for high Zandalar faction.
This might be my former alchemist self complaining, but why enchanters and not alchemists for Wizzard oil? It is a consumable placed on a weapon, much like Frost Oil or Shadow Oil. And both of those are oils as well! Furthermore, enchanters are already getting additional stuff: new recipes are available in TAQ and RAQ, right? And they get the new Nexus Crystals as well. Alchemists get a transmute heart of flame to elemental fire... which is on the transmute cooldown timer, I'd wager, making it completely worthless. Enchanters also get recipes with Cenarion Circle faction now... blah...
Anyone else think the consumable Wizzard Oils should be an alchemy creation instead of an enchanting one? I have seen enchanting as permanent buffs to items, with alchemy being temporary ones. They each have some variation (enchanting can create wands, and alchemy transmutes), but basically they fall into this category. Anyone else have thoughts on whether these new spells oils seem out of place with enchanting? ^_^
