ooze covered nodes?Follow

Hi i've been mining for a while but recently i found some mithril veins that were called ooze covered, just wondering what they mean thanks!

If there is a difference in drop rate of gems it is very slight (maybe 1 in 1000), according to an Allakhazam search for "Mithril Deposit" and "Ooze-covered Mithril Deposit". The only real difference I can see is that any minerals found in insect hives seem to be ooze-covered. I also haven't seen any difference in the amount of ore recovered from the two types of nodes, but that is my own impression - I haven't found a way to confirm it on this site.
