So the horde have a majorly easy way to get major mana recipe... has anyone figured out a way to get it as alliance yet? i mean the drop rate sucks. it's impossible to find 5 man groups for scholo to do the 3 quests. there has to be something, or is this just another case of blizz loving horde?

It honestly wouldnt suprise me of blizzard remove this feature as it wasnt intended.
theres a possibility it was, but i would tend to think that blizzard in fact didnt think of this when they introduced this buff.
so yeah, i dont think they favour horde in this way unless someone can prove me wrong cos as far as im aware, this wasnt exactly intended to work this way...

How about going to the neutral AH and buying it from us Horde? Sounds pretty easy to me!! Mohahahah.
In truth it probably Is a blizzard mistake, but even so, it will never get fixed. "Working as Intented", what, you think they will admit to being wrong? A pain you alliance? Probably, yes. Game breaker? NO. Once you look at everything each faction has, that the other does not, it basically evens out.

So what is this method of acquiring the recipie for Horde?
there's a low lvl quest guy in the orc starting areas. from him you can get a "hex" that makes you see hallucinations. with that you can see the ghosts near scholo and get the major mana recipe
it's "working as intended" with no plans of changing so there either HAS to be a way to get it as alliance with some hallucination thing OR they just love horde more than us

You can tell that they love horde more than you because of all of the extra time that they put into developing your quest series, your cities, giving a second class the ability to remove magic...

A little asymmetry never hurt anyone. Alliance gets a free* pet, Horde doesn't.

ive seen the major mana potion drop from the end boss of scholo too...just do it in 5-10 man and you can try to get it.
though not having to go thru the instance for horde side does seem to cheapen the recipe for their faction.
