What makes it go down? I got a regular, simplest Fishing Pole, if that matters, and it's durability sometimes goes down after not using it for a long time. Is that the thing that makes the durability fall? If not - then what?
The durability goes down when you use the Angels to rez you instead of going back to you where your body is. It even tells you that when you ask to be rez'd.

If I banged my head on the wall, non-stop, three days in a row it wouldn't occur to me that the solution was so simple. Anywayz - thnx for the info.
durability also goes down if you forget to switch and use the pole as a 2-handed weapon.
hehe I did that once, I actually managed to kill the mob with my pole.
