Where are the best places to mine ore.
more specificaly iron ore.

I find Thousand Needles has a lot. Type in "Iron" on the left, find the Iron vein link, and pick a zone in which to find it. It'll give you a rough idea of where to look.
Alterac also works. The outskirts of Arathi has some. Most places around level 30-45 or so have iron.

My favorite place for iron is the badlands - lots of nodes and there is a forge in the middle of the zone so you can reduce your load between circuits. And there is mithril in the valleys around the edges for when you reach that level.
