Yea, true: It does become a lot less superhuman with a couple of close friends.

But when you don't have that it's really a heavy walk sometimes.
I recommend a VERY good sense of humor and the tenacity to use it even if you're alone and the only one laughing.
It's gotten me by a thousand times! :-D

- I have engineering too, and agree with the majority of what people say here.
It is definitely not the proffession to make money off.
I took engineering because I found out about some gear I'd be able to create and use. This was my only reason to take this proffession.

But I have backed myself up by having an alt who has the same gathering-proffessions as you havve, Lathby. - He saves the day, but I'm by no means rich, and I will probably have to do something about it pretty soon.

Someone mentioned above that Blizzard finally will look into the strange and somewhat useless way engineering is managed (by making everything we create available onbly to those who can make it too - in theory, anyway).
Now that would be SO great.
I mean, as it is now ... it's not exactly fitting for a MMPORG that makes a strong case of trying to urge people to social interaction.
so, yeah, it sounds good! ... when did they give this statement, btw? Not 2 or 3 years ago, I hope (unless they've been following up on it. - And I just haven't neither heard nor seen myself anything whatsoever about engineering being revived - which doesn't mean it hasn't been said/written. - After all, one can only read and hear so much).

- Thanks for some great and helpful input about which items and materials make better selling. Not yet lvl 70 and having only just arrived in Outland myself, there were many things I hadn't cought up on.

Let's keep things updated, as there'll surely come more changes as TBC features become more and more commonly known and begin to sell more, and eventually more than the things that sell now (Ex.: Deviate Delight fish still sell, but in no way as much as they used to).
