Hi all, I'm newish to wow and to the forums. I have recently become excited about being an enchanter. I am investing some gold into it now and wanted to know at what lvl will it pay off? I am interested in making my weapon look firey or glowing or something like that. What is the first enchantment that I can place on my weapon that will alter its appearance? A screen shot would be cool too. Thanks.

Enchant Weapon - Minor Beastslayer (red glow)
Enchant Weapon - Minor Striking (white glow)
That's a full list of enchanting skills, just look for the first "Enchant Weapon.....". Also the FAQ post at the top has info on what color each enchant does to the weapon.

So I got my +40 Spell Damage Enchant put on a totemic staff ( didnt wanna wait for better wep to get moar +dmg ) BUT there is no purple glow! Is this a glitch? there's been a patch since then and nothing. Any thoughts?
+40 spell damage is a TBC formula, and I have not yet seen an expansion enchant yield a glow.
