so if you're "sure" that high level herbs sell nicely, then why are you making the argument against herbalism with peacebloom, one of the first herbs you can pick at level 0?
Because starting out people want to make mad coin. 10k is really not going to get them much.
I used peaceblooms because that's what I remember the price on (since at 33 I've had 3 stacks sitting in my bank forever now). I also said "sure" high level sell better, because everything as you progress through the levels inflates in price. ... of the monkey is 20s at lv 14 ---> lv50 6G or w/e the prices are. SO, I'm assuming the price for the 200+ herbs sells nice.
The OP did not give us any info, so I'm assuming he's a newer player (as I said). I was not in anyway saying Herbalism is not good, just the rewards pay off down the road vs mining at lv1 will net you 2G a stack.
You guys took my post as a Herb bash, when I'm a herb/alch for my Druid, but I was glad I had my lv24 Priest toon alli to give her a start up fund.
*Oh btw* I can't tell you how many times I go to gather something, and only come up with 1 herb. In mining nodes I generally get to mine it 2-4 times, and get gems (rare), stones(common), and ores (always). So I was just helping what appears to be a new player out.
Again, my level 40 Druid (or Hunter for that matter) has never seen that place yet. So I threw in a "I'm sure" because I don't know.... How far in the levels is that again? 58+? My post was simply directed at new players. Peaceblooms, earthroots, briarthorns, grave moss, stranglekelp, etc are not huge money makers by far. As far as the gathering time/pay off ratio IMO. That would explain why my bank is filled with them, just waiting on me to craft them into something. I'll admit swiftthisles (sp?) sell nice, mainly because they're used in Rogue energy tea.
