Prospecting Gone WildFollow

Either I just got INCREDIBLY lucky, or prospecting has been made a hundred times more likely to make blues. Prospected 50 Adamantite ores, got 6 blue gems. Is this freak chance, or are blues just popping like crazy?

i haven't gotten as many blues as before the patch. i've probably done about 140 adamantite ores. however, i do know that there is now 100% chance to get at least one type of gem, so that already is a good result in my book!

for my server prices, then at least that means i'm getting about 8g worth of gems per stack, and really it's a little more because of getting 1-3 gems now and then. i won't feel too horribly about simply not selling the ore, now.

Good, they were outrageous to begin with. 50g to get an extra 2 points or so in a particular stat is ludicrous.

BLizz told us they were increasing the drop rate of gems, i guess that meant prospecting as well.

Prices wont fall much, but they will fall.

I've done a lot of prospecting since the patch and I've found roughly one blue gem per two stacks of adamantite ore.

janeping fel iron ore rarely drops blue gems.
