What fish sell?Follow

i just hit 300 fishing and need money.
What are the fish that sell for most and are in highest demand (apart from the deviates, I know these)?
And by the way if somebody knows how do you hit 375 fishing?

Im not sure about the new outlands fish. I believe ones that give both a stam+intellect/spirit buff are pretty popular after being cooked.

In the old world firefin, stonescale eel, and oily blackmouths were some of the main ones. Winter squid I believe also sold well, although I never fished for it.

At 300 fishing there will still be a degree of frustration while trying to fish in the outlands. I can't speak for the "fly-to" only areas, but most any place in the outlands will not let you fish without the higher end bobbers.

In the last patch they claimed to have made fishing "easier" by reducing the time spent on each cast and by eliminating the very frustrating expiration without getting a bite. I am 375 fishing and just recently got the quest pole from Lower City ( +20 to fishing). I was lucky enough to find a Big-Iron Fishing Pole ( +20 fishing) at the AH for 6 gold shortly after I started, so there is not much difference other than a huge stamina bonus on the quest reward.

As for fish that sell well: on my server any fish that will level cooking past the 300s which also provide stat gains for 20 - 30 minutes do very well. Golden Darters sell for about 1.5g each, with the cooked versions selling for about 1g each. Zangarmarsh Sporefish also sell for about 1 gold apiece.

The best catches, apparently, are furious crawdads (about 2-3 g each)but from what I understand can only be caught at the fly-to only lakes.

Of course, my absolute favorite to catch is the Goldenscale Vendorfish, of which I have caught 2 from the steam pump flotsam pools in Zangarmarsh. The sell to vendors for 6g each. I wouldn't rely on catching those, however.

2 others to note that sell well are the Icefin Bluefish and Figluster's Mudfish (which I have found in Nagrand) but am not high enough in level to explore many other fishing spots. At 375+20+2 I still get a lot of "your fish got away" messages, so usually I will bring a stack of aquadynamic fish attractors if I want to avoid the frustration of getting that msg.
