Ok, I'm a 300Skinning/Leatherworking, I went Dragonscale for being a hunter so seemed smart. Would being just Dragonscale mean "specialized" in that skill or can i go further into it? Been seeing stuff like that and it kind of confused me.

I went with Dragonscale for a specialty. To be honest I think it is a waste. There is good armor to be made. It just takes either spending gold in the AH for mats or what seems like endless farming for the mats. You will still have the regular LW skills that you can train for. When you are honored, revered or exalted with some groups you will be able to buy some good patterns that are not Dragonscale. You can always trade leather goods with your friends for other goodies. I think the best way to make gold is by selling the raw materials and armor kits. Outland is great for Skinning/LW. Have fun.

I thought it would be a cool idea too, but it takes hours and hours and hours of grinding to make 1 peice of armor, which you'll end up replacing in 10 min once you hit the outlands. I was warned about this before I started the quest to aquire dragonscale leatherworking, but I love to collect patterns so I went and did it anyway.
