Engineering Skill Stuck at 240Follow

I've completed the quest in Tinkertown and recieved my Gnomish Engineer card, but I'm still stuck at 240.


What do I need to do to move the cap up?

The gnome card is only for gnome engineering recipes. You actually need to go to the engineer trainer in Gadgetzan to increase your cap. Note that the goblin trainer is there too, so don’t confuse the two NPCs. The trainer you need to raise your cap is also there.
