Enchanting 225-275.Follow

I'm a level 35 draenei enchanter, trying to get my enchanting up. Basically, I see 3 options to get from 225 to 275 (so the grand master trainers will actually teach me), and the easiest is hard enough. I was wondering if there was a solution I am missing.

Solution 1 seems to be the only thing possible, and that's to get a run through uldaman. However, I dont feel like getting the mats before-hand, I'd rather have someone I can keep going back to

Solution 2 is to get to the trainer in netherstorm, but I've heard it requires a flying mount (and if that's correct, you cant get shipped there by a warlock). So I cant go there.

Solution 3 is to talk to the trainer on the scryer's tier, but every time I go up there I get banished from Shattrah city. Can anyone help me?

This is what enchanters have always had to do, its what my priest had to do when I played a priest. You really only have to visit him 3 times I think to get your enchanting through this stage.

I was not aware there was an enchanter up there. I know there's stuff relating to alchemy, but not enchanting.

The reason you get banished is because draenei start off naturally friendly with aldor and disliked by scryer (blood elves are the reverse). However, once you do the quest that allows you to choose your faction you can choose either one without penalty regardless of your race (I'm aldor on my paladin). Since you're level 35 you are unable to choose a faction and therefore will always be banished if you go up there, and you will be unable to speak to the trainer anyway.

I think your only option is the traditional ULDA.

Maybe the enchanter was there on a private server or something, there was a location on wowhead for one.

So basically I spent 3g on a port to shat for nothing?

There is an enchanting trainer in Netherstorm at Stormspire, though I'm not sure if he teaches the same stuff as the other two master trainers.

However, you can't be summoned to Netherstorm, so I'm not sure how you would get there.

Will he even train Artisan enchanting? The alla list of trainers only shows the lady in Uldaman: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/guides.html?guide=361#Enchanting

Thanks for posting this, btw. I've got a 36 BE enchanter that I'm not sure how I will get the Artisan training for... looks like I'll have to wait for an uldaman run-through, as well.

Grand masters can teach you everything.

OP just get a 70 to clear ulda for you ;)

Not the one on the Scryers tier. However, standing right next to him is an Expert Enchanter who handles the lower level stuff.

I just hit 275 at the weekend, with my lvl 38 Human Rogue, so I've been using that guy for quite a few levels.

To the OP... as mikelolol said, you'll have to find someone to escort you into Uldaman each time.

Ulda is the only option for Draenei enchanters. My wife was so pissed when she found out. My human mage just went to Shat. and trained at Scryer's tier and my warrior became an Ulda back door clearing machine for her mage.

Definately check out the leveling guides for enchanting, know exactly what mats to bring, bring enough to do it once and once only. You don't have to hit 275 inside, but you shold hit 260-265ish and train enough recipes to take you to 275 easily.

Offer 20g in trade for someone to run you through to the enchanting trainer.

At 275 you can grab your main, bring him to Silithus and pick up the Wizard Oil formula, at 285 you can buy formulas like Fiery if you're ever interested in hitting 300. I doubt you are, but just pointing it out.

70 is overrated.

A 45 can take you through VC.

A 60 can take you through SM.

And a 60 can help you through Uldaman also. It’s actually a pretty quick trip if you know the path.

Lvl 60+ can help you with the paladin and warlock mount quests.

So make use of your lvl 60+ friends and guildies, rather than waiting on a 70 all the time.

Another option you didn’t list is, you can go with a regular Uldaman group, when you’re around 38-43ish, and get exp, finish quests, and get the enchanter trainer. Believe it or not, some people used this method, too. Go back a few times if you need to, you can get decent exp for several levels. Or do it all at once.

FYI, I just had a Mage in my guild opena portal for my lvl 47 lock into Shat. She took me to the enchanter trainer in the scyer area, and he would not train me. It said I had to be a lvl 50 or above. My enchanting is currently at 225. I'm assuming this would be the same for the trainer in Uldaman?

You talked to the wrong trainer. There are two there, one which train 225-300 and one which does 300-375. You talked to the second one, which will not train you until you are level 50 and skill 275.
