jewelcrafting questionFollow

I've looked all around the different websites related to jewelcrafting but can't seem to find what I'm looking for and maybe it doesn't even exist. My question is I was hoping to find a site that showed me the raw gem and then what that gem could be cut into. Now I know that there is a link here on allakhazam and maybe that's all there is, but I'm still fairly new to the whole jewelcrafting realm and can't really make heads or tails of it. From what I can gather you can cut pretty much any gem into any of the cuts? Thx for the help
