Ive killed about 100 kailiri for that wing and no drop, is there somewhere else to get the wing?
when i was doing my egg bombing run for the day i got one to drop from the second bird that attacked me. i ended up killing about 10 birds but only 1 dropped.
only advice is just be sure you are killing the huge ones and not the birds on the ground.

only 1 will drop I believe per day for the quest and I'm sure you have to have the quest in your log..I was lucky and got it on the 1st kill :)

I was shocked that so many birds could chase me through the air and not have wings, but after ~20 kills i got one, and I got 5 golden fishsticks and a new recipe out of it.
Where do you get the quest?
the name of the npc is The Rokk. he's in Lower City. he is a goblin. (i was expecting someone larger with a name like "the rokk" lol)
i don't have cords cause i'm at work but he's sort of around the opposite way from the profession trainer area.

hey thanks for the replies guys and sure enough i was in a stinking raid group lol. After that I got it on 9th kill but no recipe >< just raptor ribs and warp burgers.
I just got "soup for the soul" - is there a list somewhere yet of all the cooking dailies?
Are the OP sure that he was killing Monstrous Kaliri?
The Alla shows 1,75% per wing, the wowhead shows 3%.
I did this quest twice, first time get my wing on c.a. 12 kill of kaliri, 2nd time in 3rd kill of kaliri, so the drop rate does not seems bad to me.
Pretty good addition to daily Skettis quests.

Can you smell what The Rokk is cooking?
I had to abandon and the quest disapeared. Now i have to look for berries.

The drop rate is listed as being so bad because for every one person killing the suckers for the cooking quest, there's a hundred killing them for a non-cooking reason.
